Role Description The 3D Fashion & AI Designer will work on-site in Helsinki in a full-time capacity, collaborating with design, production, and technology teams to develop innovative fashion concepts using 3D design tools and AI-driven solutions. This role involves creating virtual garments, refining fits and silhouettes, selecting appropriate textiles, and integrating embroidery and other decorative techniques into digital prototypes. The designer will translate brand and client requirements into detailed 3D fashion collections, optimize designs for production, and support sampling with accurate digital representations. Daily tasks include researching trends, experimenting with AI tools for design and visualization, preparing technical files and specifications, and coordinating closely with pattern makers and product developers. The role also requires clear documentation of workflows, contribution to process improvements, and active participation in design reviews and cross-functional meetings. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong skills in Fashion Design and Fashion, with the ability to translate concepts into cohesive collections.Candidates should possess practical skills in Fitting and Textiles, ensuring accurate garment fit and appropriate fabric selection.Candidates should possess creative skills in Embroidery and decorative detailing, integrating embellishment into 3D and physical designs.Proficiency in 3D fashion design software (e.g., CLO3D, Browzwear, or similar) and familiarity with AI-based design or visualization tools.Solid understanding of garment construction, pattern making basics, and production processes in knitwear and ready-to-wear.Strong visual communication skills, including the ability to present concepts using digital mock-ups, mood boards, and technical sketches.Ability to work on-site in Helsinki, collaborate in cross-cultural teams, and communicate effectively in English; knowledge of other languages is an advantage.Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, Digital Design, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
