Accountant to a Growing Tech Company Are you a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant who enjoys a hands-on role with broad responsibility and the opportunity to improve and automate processes? We are currently looking for an Accountant to join a growing international tech company. You will be an important part of the finance function, with broad responsibility for day-to-day accounting, reporting and month-end closing for one or more companies within the Group. Alongside your operational responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to contribute to process improvements, automation and the continued development of the finance function. In this role, you will:Be responsible for day-to-day accounting and daily finance processesEnsure monthly balance sheet reconciliations and maintain high quality in the accountingHandle ongoing reporting and tax-related processesManage accruals, journal entries and other recurring month-end closing activitiesParticipate in month-end and year-end closing and support the audit processPerform analyses and reconciliations related to the balance sheet and income statementContribute to the development and improvement of finance processes and internal controlsIdentify opportunities for automation and improved system supportCollaborate with external accounting, tax and finance partnersBe part of a flexible finance function where you may also support colleagues when neededHandle ad hoc questions and analyses together with finance managers and other parts of the organization This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining accounting expertise, analytical thinking and problem-solving. We are looking for someone who:Has at least 5 years of experience in qualified accountingHas a strong understanding of day-to-day accounting, reconciliations and financial closingIs analytical and able to understand and explain financial dataIs comfortable working independently and taking ownership of their responsibilitiesIs structured, detail-oriented and solution-orientedEnjoys managing multiple tasks in parallel and reprioritizing when neededHas an interest in systems, digitalization and process improvementHas strong communication skills and enjoys collaborating across different functions It is a plus if you have:Experience with Business Central, Exflow or similar financial systems is considered an advantage, as is experience using digital AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude.
