ADAS Function Owner & System Design Engineer Specialist
Are you a highly skilled Systems Engineer with deep expertise in Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS)? We are looking for an ADAS Function Owner & System Design Engineer Specialist to support our client in the Gothenburg area.
In this role, you will take end-to-end ownership of End-User Functions (EUF's) across variants, use cases, and regulatory standards. You will lead system and logical design, ensure functional safety and cybersecurity, and collaborate closely with cross-functional agile teams to deliver cutting-edge solutions for commercial vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
As Function Owner:Define and manage End-User Function Requirements for all variants, use cases, and applicable standards and regulations.Plan and lead quality, functional safety, and cybersecurity assurance activities for your EUFs.Define system and logical design, ensuring end-to-end delivery from requirements through development to verification and customer release.As a Team & System Specialist:Design electrical and electronic systems by defining system purpose, component interfaces, and system behaviors.Drive concept investigations, evaluate design alternatives, and secure quality and readiness prior to release.Collaborate in an agile set-up (PI planning), actively contributing to team backlogs and cross-functional deliverables.Support Product Managers in clarifying capabilities and breaking them down into actionable features and enablers.Mentor and coach team members, bringing cutting-edge thinking and domain expertise to the network. Education: BSc or MSc degree in Electrical/Software Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or equivalent.Experience: Minimum 8 years of relevant engineering experience, with at least 5 years dedicated to the ADAS domain.Role Expertise: Proven experience as an End-User Function Owner and working with functional safety, cybersecurity, and quality assurance methods.Technical & System Tools: Hands-on experience with Architectural/System Design and tools such as System Weaver, Vector tools, CANalyzer, and internal systems like KOLA.Driver's License: Valid B driver’s license is required (C or D license is meritorious).Soft Skills: Collaborative T-shaped profile, self-driven, highly adaptable, and eager to expand knowledge outside primary boundaries.
