About the AssignmentWe are currently looking for an ADAS Verification & Validation Engineer for an exciting consultant assignment with our customer.In this role, you will verify and validate advanced driver assistance functions, with a strong focus on hands-on vehicle testing and real-world driving scenarios. You will plan, prepare, execute, and evaluate tests in complete vehicles, both on proving grounds and public roads, while also utilizing simulation and test rigs when needed.You will analyze function performance, robustness, usability, and overall customer experience, providing structured feedback to development teams to support continuous product improvement. Main ResponsibilitiesPlan, prepare, and execute vehicle tests for ADAS and active safety functionsPerform validation activities on proving grounds and public roadsEvaluate system behavior, performance, drivability, and customer experienceDefine and execute test scenarios and acceptance criteriaAnalyze vehicle logs, test data, and system behaviorSupport troubleshooting and root cause investigationsDocument test results and provide structured feedback to development teamsCollaborate with software engineers, system designers, test leads, suppliers, and other stakeholdersContribute to the continuous improvement of verification and validation methodsSupport development activities using simulation, rigs, HIL, SIL, and other verification environments when applicable Required QualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Computer Science, Automation & Control, or equivalentExperience in complete vehicle testing within ADAS, Active Safety, Automated Driving, or similar vehicle functionsExperience planning, preparing, executing, and documenting vehicle testsKnowledge of verification and validation methodologiesAbility to assess both technical function performance and customer experience aspectsExperience analyzing logs and test data for troubleshooting and performance evaluationUnderstanding of automotive communication systems, diagnostics, and data loggingExperience with automotive tools such as:CANoeCANalyzerCANapeINCADLTor equivalent toolsBasic scripting or automation experience, preferably PythonExperience working in cross-functional development environmentsFluent in English, both written and spokenValid Swedish B driving license Meritorious ExperienceExperience with HIL, SIL, simulation environments, or CI/CD-based verificationProving ground testing experienceSafety driver experienceFleet testing and customer-focused validation activitiesExperience within ADAS, Active Safety, or Autonomous Driving developmentKnowledge of automotive software development and integration processes Who Are You?We believe you are a structured, self-driven, and hands-on engineer with a strong passion for vehicles and technology.
