AI Solutions Architect

Someone built an agent on their laptop. It works well enough that they use it every day. It also reads sensitive data and sends it to a model outside the company, and nobody in IT knows it is there. Shadow AI like this is spreading fast. The usual reaction is to hunt these agents down and switch them off. We would rather make them possible. Arc Theory builds the platform that makes that possible. We work with companies that want AI running in production, with the governance and security to hold up under audit. That means the agent runtime, how agents are operated and governed, and the road from an idea to something people can rely on. We are a small senior team in Stockholm, founded in 2026 by Björn Eriksen, who led solutions architect teams at Microsoft and AWS, and Marcus Falck, who founded a SaaS company and ran it as CTO for ten years. What you would doYou would work with Swedish companies that have the ambition and the pilots, and nothing dependable in production yet. In one week you might sketch an architecture on a whiteboard, sit with a CIO, and then spend two days beside the client's own architects and developers building it. A good part of the job is not technical. Organisations change when people change how they work, and someone has to bring the client's engineers with them. What you bringAn ideal candidate is a senior solutions architect with years of hands-on cloud experience, building on Azure, AWS or Google Cloud, with real depth in at least one. With that comes an understanding of what an autonomous process can reach when nobody is watching, what the damage is when it gets something wrong, and how anyone would know its answers are good. You also bring a working foundation in AI, enough to reason about how models and agents behave once they are in production. We are deliberately not listing frameworks here. We would rather meet people who arrived at this from different directions. You do not need to have run AI agents in production. Almost nobody has yet. You want to be among the first who do. Inside Arc Theory we work in English, so fluency in written and spoken English is a requirement. Swedish is a plus, as some client assignments might require it. What makes you more interesting to us: a background in consulting, experience of security and governance, and what you learned taking something past the pilot stage. Who we are looking forThis is the right job for someone who wants a say in what Arc Theory becomes. The first hires decide how the work is done here, and we would rather work that out with you than hand you a method. You would be the one who notices the pattern worth reusing on the next engagement. And good people tend to follow people they have worked with, so we would be glad if some of them followed you. PayA fixed base salary, plus a variable part that grows with the hours you bill. You decide where you work best, except when an engagement needs you at the client.
