This is a full-time position based at Tändstickspalatset in central Stockholm. About the Role As an Analyst, you will become part of our Analytics team, consisting of highly skilled colleagues with backgrounds from leading universities and technical institutions, including KTH, LTH, Lund University, Uppsala University, Stockholm University and Stockholm School of Economics.The Analytics team has overall responsibility for profitability analysis and works closely with the business across areas such as underwriting, renewals and strategic development projects. Your responsibilities will include:Pricing and underwriting of insurance productsProfitability analysis and performance monitoringIdentifying and analysing new market segments and business opportunities across Spain and broader European markets.Developing analytical tools, models and automation solutionsForecasting and project managementWorking with and analysing large datasetsSupporting strategic and commercial decision-making through data-driven insights The role is varied and combines advanced analytics with commercial understanding. You will work extensively with tools such as Excel, SQL, R and Python. About You We are looking for an analytically and mathematically strong individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced, performance-oriented environment. You are comfortable taking responsibility, working independently and challenging both yourself and established ways of working. We believe you have:A Master´s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Data Science or a similar quantitatively focused fieldStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with excellent academic resultsExperience with SQL, R, Python, MATLAB or similar toolsStrong Excel skillsFluent Spanish and English, both written and spokenAn interest in using data and analysis to solve real business problems Previous experience in areas such as data science, analytics, finance or insurance is an advantage, but not a requirement.
