Project CoordinatorLocation: Vaasa, FinlandDepartment: OperationsReports To: CTOEmployment Type: Fixed-Term, 1 Year About the RoleWe are looking for a Project Coordinator to oversee the planning, execution, and monitoring of the project portfolio. The role will ensure alignment with established standards, strategic objectives, timelines, quality requirements, and available resources.The Project Coordinator will also contribute to the development and implementation of PMO methodologies, frameworks, processes, and reporting systems to support effective project delivery and portfolio management. Key ResponsibilitiesProject Portfolio ManagementOversee planning, execution, and monitoring of the project portfolio.Ensure projects remain aligned with company standards, strategic objectives, timelines, quality requirements, and available resources.Support effective coordination and management across multiple complex projects.Monitor project progress and identify areas requiring attention, escalation, or corrective action. Resource and Project ManagementCoordinate project resources to support efficient project delivery.Monitor resource requirements, availability, and utilisation across projects.Support project planning, scheduling, execution, and coordination.Ensure appropriate alignment of project activities, resources, timelines, and deliverables. Project Reporting and Performance MonitoringDevelop and maintain project tracking, scheduling, and reporting processes.Monitor project performance against agreed timelines, milestones, quality requirements, and objectives.Prepare regular project and portfolio reports for management.Track project risks, issues, dependencies, and potential delays.Support the implementation of PMO methodologies, frameworks, standards, and reporting structures. Required Qualifications and ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.5–7 years of experience in project management, project coordination, project controls, or a related project environment.Experience working across multiple complex projects.Experience in substation, power, construction, infrastructure, or related projects is preferred.Strong understanding of project planning, scheduling, tracking, and reporting.Experience with project management and scheduling tools such as MS Project and/or Primavera.Strong knowledge of risk management and stakeholder management.Ability to coordinate multiple projects, resources, stakeholders, and priorities simultaneously.Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.PMP and/or PRINCE2 certification is an advantage. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Project deliveryQuality and complianceResource optimisationStakeholder satisfactionRisk mitigation Employment Details and BenefitsFixed-term contract for 1 year.3-month probation period.Salary: EUR 100,000 per year.Work rotation: 3 weeks on / 1 week off.Private health insurance.Finnish statutory occupational healthcare and insurance.Annual holiday entitlement in accordance with the Finnish Annual Holidays Act: 2 weekdays for each full holiday credit month, with a maximum of 24 weekdays during the contract.Shared accommodation provided.Shared vehicle available for business purposes.Approved business travel, accommodation, and related expenses covered.Normal commuting and personal/home travel expenses are excluded unless otherwise agreed. Replacement / Continuity ArrangementFor an absence or replacement requirement of less than 1 month, a Technical Project Coordinator will provide coverage.For an absence or replacement requirement exceeding 1 month, senior management will appoint a temporary replacement.Replacement may be through internal or external recruitment in accordance with DCS Norway policy.The appointed replacement will assume the key responsibilities of the Project Coordinator during the absence.
