About the roleAs an Associate Consultant in our Executive Search team, you will play an important role in identifying and assessing senior leaders for some of the leading organisations in the Nordics. You will work closely with experienced consultants and senior client stakeholders throughout the search process – from understanding the client’s business, strategy and organisation, to identifying relevant candidates, conducting interviews and supporting the assessment of leadership capabilities and fit. The role combines business analysis, research, interviewing and project management, giving you the opportunity to develop a broad skill set while gaining early exposure to senior executives and decision-makers. You will take responsibility from day one and work closely with colleagues who will support your development along the way. Key responsibilities includeWorking with senior client stakeholders to understand their business, strategy, organisation and leadership needsAnalysing roles and organisations to identify the competencies, experiences and leadership capabilities required for successMapping and identifying relevant senior candidates across industries and marketsEngaging with candidates and conducting initial interviews to understand their experience, motivations and leadership profilesSupporting the assessment of candidates and synthesising insights into clear recommendationsWorking closely with the Project Manager and team to deliver high-quality client assignments What you will bringSuccess in this role requires strong intellectual ability and curiosity. You will need to quickly understand different businesses, industries and organisational contexts, while being genuinely interested in people and what makes leaders successful. You will combine analytical work with frequent interaction with senior professionals. This requires self-leadership, confidence and strong communication skills, as well as the ability to build trust and establish relationships with a wide range of people.
