AWS Solution Architect

Role: AWS Solution ArchitectDuration : 12 months + possible extensionLocation : 100% Remote from European UnionLanguage needed: EnglishP.Iva / B2B Contract / Freelance / Contract / Self -employed JDWe are looking for an experienced Solution Architect with deep expertise in event-driven architecture, message brokers, API integration, and microservices to design and support complex, scalable, and secure cloud-native solutions. You will have a strong background in AWS Architecture, with hands-on experience designing modern applications using microservices, APIs, containers, and event-driven patterns. Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and define scalable, flexible, and secure cloud-native solutions based on AWS.Develop solution architectures using microservices, API integration, and event-driven architecture.Design and support solutions using message brokers and asynchronous communication patterns.Ensure solutions are designed for high performance, scalability, reliability, and future business needs.Ensure appropriate consideration of Cyber Security requirements for enterprise solutions throughout the architecture and implementation.Define and maintain technical documentation, including Solution Outlines, Architectural Diagrams, and detailed technical design documentation in Confluence.Work with DevOps teams to ensure effective CI/CD pipelines and continuous deployment practices.Review existing solutions and integrations and identify opportunities for improvement, scalability, and optimisation. Skills needed: Strong professional experience as a Solution Architect / AWS Solution Architect.Strong expertise in event-driven architecture and message broker technologies.Proven experience designing cloud-native applications based on: Microservices architecture, API integration, Event-driven architecture & Asynchronous communicationStrong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.Experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and continuous deployment.Experience working with Confluence and Jira within an Agile delivery environment.Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, clients, and third-party vendors.Deep knowledge of Cyber Security principles and requirements for enterprise solutions.Experience designing scalable, flexible, reliable, and secure enterprise solutions.
