Azure Cloud Architect

We are looking for an Azure Cloud Architect to join a consulting team supporting a Swedish public-sector organization in strengthening its capabilities across data, analytics, cloud platforms, and digital development.Key responsibilitiesDesign and establish Azure cloud environments in complex IT environmentsDesign and implement Azure Landing Zones and cloud governanceWork in accordance with the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) or equivalent frameworksDevelop target architectures, solution designs, and technical guidelines for cloud and hybrid environmentsSupport the development and management of Microsoft Fabric, Azure, Power BI, Microsoft 365, and AI solutionsEnsure appropriate security, governance, and cost control across Azure environmentsCollaborate with solution architects, infrastructure specialists, developers, data professionals, and other technical teamsWork closely with business and IT stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into scalable technical solutionsContribute to roadmaps, implementation plans, documentation, and ways of workingSupport the implementation and ongoing management of cloud solutionsContribute to knowledge transfer and the development of internal cloud capabilitiesIdeal candidate profileAt least 5 years of professional experience with Microsoft Azure in large organizations or complex IT environmentsSeveral years of experience in IT infrastructure, cloud platforms, or technical architectureProven experience designing and establishing Azure environmentsStrong experience with Azure Landing Zones and cloud governanceKnowledge of the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) or equivalent cloud governance frameworksExperience with target architecture, solution design, and technical guidelines for cloud and hybrid environmentsStrong understanding of Azure security, governance, and cost managementExperience working with complex IT environments and multiple stakeholdersGood understanding of Microsoft cloud technologies, including Azure, Microsoft 365, and Power PlatformStrong communication and collaboration skillsFluent Swedish and English – both mandatoryConditionsWork model: OnsiteLocation: Tyresö, SwedenLanguage: Swedish and English – mandatoryRate: NegotiableRecruitment stepsInitial interview with a recruiterTechnical interview with the clientDecision and feedback
