Clinical Nurse Team Leader – Dargaville Medical Centre
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Team Leader to provide clinical leadership within our busy rural practice.
This role is responsible for supporting high standards of nursing care, leading quality initiatives, and fostering a high-performing, patient-centered team In addition to leading the nursing team, you can still enjoy clinical time on the floor to stay connected to day-to-day patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Provide clinical leadership, mentorship and direction to the nursing teamEnsure safe, effective and culturally responsive care is consistently deliveredLead quality improvement initiatives and contribute to policy and process developmentOversee performance, support professional growth and promote top-of-scope practiceCollaborate effectively with the wider clinical and administrative teams
Skills & Experience Required
Advance clinical knowledge/skills in primary and acute care preferredNZ Registered Nurse with current practising certificateMinimum three years’ post-registration experienceDemonstrated leadership capability (rural or acute care experience desirable)Strong interpersonal, communication and organisational skillsCommitment to professional development and continuous improvementEligibility to work in New Zealand
Position Details
40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (Flexibility available for the right candidate)No night shifts, Sundays or public holidaysOccasional Saturday morning shifts
