Cloud Engineer

Lead Cloud Engineer - Contract – Energy / Commodities OB Collective are currently working with a partner of ours in the Energy / Commodities space who are growing out their presence across Europe and looking for a strong Senior level AWS DevOps Engineer to join their scaling tech team. The incoming engineer will be responsible for scaling their AWS practices (including migrating services from On-Prem environments to AWS), whilst driving Automation and IaC efforts across their broader Infrastructure estate. To be a suitable fit for this opening, the following experience is required: Lead level experience, comfortable driving projects end to end, whilst managing & coaching more Junior team members (must have recent experience in a Lead capacity)Strong hands-on experience with AWS and AWS Services (5 years minimum)Containerisation / Orchestration with KubernetesIaC experience with TerraformStrong history of building CI/CD pipelinesPrior Monitoring experience with Prometheus and GrafanaPrior experience across Linux, Network, Storage and Database technologies This is a remote B2B contract opening for engineers based in EU countries, for an initial 6 months, and can offer £350-400 p/day.
