There is a 5+ year pipeline of work in Sweden, giving you the opportunity to build international experience, establish yourself within a growing market and potentially move onto future projects as the programme develops. Relocation & PackageThe client is open to candidates relocating to Sweden from across the UK, Ireland and wider Europe. Key Responsibilities - Commercial ManagerTake ownership of the commercial management of the project from delivery through to final account.Manage project financial performance, forecasting, profitability and cash flow.Lead commercial reporting and provide accurate financial information to senior project leadership.Manage and interpret contracts, identifying commercial risks, liabilities and opportunities.Lead commercial negotiations with clients, subcontractors and suppliers.Manage variations, claims, change control and commercial disputes.Oversee subcontractor commercial management and ensure contractual obligations are maintained.Monitor project costs, revenues and margins against agreed budgets and forecasts.Provide commercial guidance and contractual support to the wider project team.Work closely with project managers, engineering, planning and finance teams.Support the preparation and negotiation of final accounts.Identify opportunities to maximise project value and minimise commercial exposure.Contribute to commercial strategy, best practice and continuous improvement.Support and develop members of the wider commercial team. Key Success Criteria - Commercial Manager Significant experience in a Commercial Manager, Senior Quantity Surveyor or Senior Commercial position.Experience managing the commercial function on large-scale projects.Strong knowledge of construction contracts, commercial management and risk.Proven experience managing variations, claims, forecasting and final accounts.Strong commercial and financial acumen.Experience working with major clients, subcontractors and project stakeholders.A degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Construction Management or a related discipline.Experience within data centres, mission critical, MEP, engineering, infrastructure or other major construction environments is highly desirable.Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.The ability to operate effectively in a fully site-based environment.A willingness to relocate to Sweden and work on a rotational basis.
