Mechanical Commissioning Engineer – Data Centre ProjectLocation: Vantaa & Helsinki, FinlandDuration: 2+ yearsStart: ASAPRate: Competitive all-in day rateThe OpportunityWe are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Commissioning Engineer to join a major data centre project in Finland.The initial phase of the project will be based in Vantaa for approximately 6 weeks, before the project transitions to Helsinki, where the successful candidate will be required for a further 2 years.This is a long-term opportunity working across the later stages of data centre delivery, with responsibility for L2, L3 and L4 commissioning activities.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver mechanical commissioning activities across L2, L3 and L4Support the commissioning process through testing, verification and system handoverWork closely with project, construction and commissioning teamsEnsure commissioning activities are completed safely and in accordance with project requirementsIdentify and resolve commissioning issues throughout the project lifecycleMaintain accurate commissioning documentation and reportingRequirementsProven experience as a Mechanical Commissioning EngineerPrevious data centre experience is essentialStrong understanding of mechanical systems within mission-critical environmentsDemonstrable experience with L2, L3 and L4 commissioningAbility to work effectively within a large project and commissioning teamRight to work in Finland or an EU passport is essentialProject DetailsLocation: Vantaa initially, followed by HelsinkiInitial duration: 6 weeks in VantaaMain project duration: Approximately 2 years in HelsinkiStart: ASAPRate: All-in day rateIf you are an experienced Mechanical Commissioning Engineer with previous data centre experience and are available for a long-term project in Finland, please get in touch at ben.harvey@clear-er.com
