About the RoleAs an Engineering Concept Leader, you will lead the development of innovative concepts for ECU Software and HV/LV Electronics, acting as the technical authority within this area. You will work closely with cross-functional teams during the early stages of projects, ensuring that solutions are technically robust, feasible, and aligned with sustainability objectives.You will play a key role in shaping technology strategies, evaluating technical solutions, and translating future requirements into practical engineering concepts. By combining strong technical expertise with strategic thinking and collaborative leadership, you will help drive the development of forward-looking solutions that support both business and engineering objectives. What You’ll DoAs an Engineering Concept Leader, you will play a key role in shaping future technology solutions. Your responsibilities will include:• Lead the development and validation of technology concepts for ECU Software and HV/LV electronics systems.• Work cross-functionally to define technical requirements, evaluate feasibility, and ensure solutions meet quality, cost, timing, and performance targets.• Drive innovation in High Voltage and Low Voltage electronics, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, sustainability, and overall system performance.• Act as the technical focal point for ECU Software solutions, ensuring concepts are scalable, future-ready, and aligned with evolving performance and environmental requirements.• Collaborate with suppliers, R&D teams, and external partners to develop and integrate solutions effectively into production environments.• Support and implement technology strategies, including the development of technical templates and standards within your area of expertise.• Provide technical guidance on system architecture, functional safety, applicable regulations, and engineering standards relating to HV/LV electronics and ECU Software.• Support analysis and verification activities (AVN) to ensure concepts are technically robust, reliable, and ready for further development and industrialisation. About YouTo succeed in this role, we believe you bring a strong combination of technical expertise, leadership capability, and a forward-looking mindset.• Educational Background: M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline.• Technical Expertise: Solid experience in ECU Software development and HV/LV electronics, preferably from complex industrial or automotive applications. You have a strong understanding of product development and concept development processes.• Concept & Systems Experience: Proven experience developing, evaluating, analysing, and verifying electronic systems and technical concepts, with the ability to translate requirements into robust engineering solutions.• Leadership & Communication: A natural ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams, combined with strong communication, collaboration, and decision-making skills.• Industry Experience: Approximately 7–10 years of relevant engineering experience, ideally with a track record in concept development, electronics systems, ECU Software, or related technology areas.• Global Perspective: Excellent written and spoken English is essential. Swedish language skills are considered an advantage.• Innovation Mindset: A proactive and analytical approach, with a genuine interest in emerging technologies, sustainable engineering, and creating solutions that support the future of mobility.• Strategic Thinking: The ability to look beyond individual components or systems and understand how technology choices contribute to broader product, business, and sustainability objectives.
