Contract / Claims Engineer(Romania)

We are seeking a Contract / Claims Engineer to support a utility-scale solar PV project in Romania. You will manage contractual matters, claims, variations and commercial documentation throughout the project and work closely with the project, engineering, construction and commercial teams. Key responsibilitiesManage contract administration and contractual documentation.Review contract terms, obligations, risks and deliverables.Prepare and manage claims, variations, change orders and extensions of time (EOT).Review contractor and subcontractor claims and supporting documentation.Monitor contractual compliance and identify potential commercial risks.Prepare contractual notices, reports and correspondence.Support negotiations and dispute resolution with contractors and subcontractors.Liaise with project, engineering, procurement, construction and commercial teams. RequirementsDegree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related discipline.Experience as a Contract Engineer, Claims Engineer, Contracts Manager, Quantity Surveyor or similar.Experience on construction, infrastructure, energy, EPC or renewable energy projects.Good knowledge of contract administration, claims, variations and EOT.Strong analytical, negotiation and communication skills.Solar PV experience is an advantage but not mandatory.Fluent English; Romanian or another European language is an advantage.
