Contract Manager

SilverBack is recruiting for an experienced Contract Manager to support the delivery of a major project in Northern Sweden.Working as part of an integrated project and construction team, you'll be responsible for the contract management and administration of major site contractors, supporting Project Leads, Construction Managers and other key stakeholders throughout project execution. Key ResponsibilitiesManage site contractors from a contract management and administration perspective.Identify and manage contractual and commercial risks, implementing appropriate mitigation measures.Manage and support Change Requests, Change Orders, variations and claims throughout project execution.Review and interpret contracts and provide support during contract negotiations.Ensure consistent interpretation of contractual clauses and treatment of changes and claims.Support project and construction teams with contractual issues and correspondence. What We're Looking ForMinimum 10 years' experience as a Contract Manager on major construction projects.Strong post-award contract management and contract administration experience.Proven experience managing claims, Change Orders, variations and contractual correspondence.Strong understanding of commercial and contractual risk management.Experience working with and managing major contractors during project execution.Background in large-scale construction, EPC/EPCM, Oil & Gas, Energy, Mining & Metals, steel or heavy industrial projects.
