Job function Reporting to the Managing Director - Europe, the Country Manager – Nordics is responsible for the overall leadership, performance and development of TXO Group’s Nordic business, based at the company’s Eskilstuna site in Sweden. As the senior leader within the Nordic region, the Country Manager will have broad responsibility across commercial, operational, financial, customer and people leadership, ensuring the Nordic business delivers against its strategic and financial objectives. The role will lead the development and execution of the Nordic business strategy, drive sustainable revenue and profitability growth, strengthen customer and partner relationships, and ensure operational excellence across the region. A key priority will be to establish Eskilstuna as TXO’s strategic Nordic hub, creating a scalable platform for future growth across Sweden and the wider Nordic market. The successful candidate will be a highly visible and hands-on leader, capable of operating strategically while remaining close to customers, employees and day-to-day business performance. Specific responsibilities The following outlines the primary areas of responsibility. Additional responsibilities or functions may be required as necessary to support the business. Strategy & Business LeadershipDevelop and execute TXO Group’s strategic objectives for the Nordic region, aligned with the wider European and Group strategy.Translate Group strategy into clear, measurable Nordic business plans and priorities.Take overall accountability for the performance and development of the Nordic business.Identify new market opportunities, commercial partnerships and areas for geographic or service-line expansion.Develop Sweden and the Eskilstuna operation as TXO’s strategic Nordic hub.Monitor market, competitor and customer trends to identify opportunities and potential risks.Provide regular performance updates, forecasts and strategic recommendations to the Managing Director – Europe and Group leadership. Commercial Growth & Customer DevelopmentPartner closely with regional and Group Sales teams to identify and convert growth opportunities.Drive revenue growth across TXO’s core propositions, including Product Sales, Asset Recovery and Solutions & Services.Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, strategic accounts and commercial partners.Act as a senior escalation point for significant customer issues and commercial negotiations.Support the development of new customer relationships and strategic accounts across the Nordic region.Identify opportunities to increase customer value, cross-sell services and expand TXO’s share of customer spend.Ensure commercial activity is aligned with agreed margin, pricing and profitability objectives. Financial & P&L ManagementTake ownership of Nordic financial performance, working with Finance and Group leadership to deliver agreed budgets and targets.Develop annual budgets, forecasts and business plans for the Nordic operation.Monitor revenue, gross margin, operating costs, profitability and cash performance.Analyse financial and operational performance and implement corrective actions where required.Identify opportunities to improve profitability, productivity and cost efficiency.Ensure appropriate financial controls and commercial disciplines are maintained across the region.Contribute to investment and capital expenditure decisions affecting the Nordic operation. Operational Leadership & ExcellenceProvide overall leadership across Nordic operational, commercial and administrative activities.Ensure the Eskilstuna operation delivers consistently high standards of service, quality, productivity and customer experience.Work closely with the Group COO to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement.Establish clear operational KPIs and performance measures.Review operational performance regularly and take decisive action where targets are not being achieved.Drive initiatives that improve efficiency, capacity utilisation, quality and scalability.Ensure appropriate processes, systems and controls are implemented to support sustainable growth.Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational accountability. People Leadership & Organisational DevelopmentLead, motivate and develop the Nordic workforce, creating a high-performance and collaborative culture.Provide clear direction, objectives and accountability across the organisation.Build strong leadership capability within the Nordic management and supervisory teams.Ensure effective workforce planning to support current operations and future growth.Identify and develop high-potential employees and succession plans.Promote employee engagement, inclusion, development and retention.Ensure performance management processes are consistently and effectively applied.Lead by example and demonstrate TXO’s values and Connected Behaviours in all aspects of the role.Ensure the organisation has the skills, capability and structure required to deliver the Nordic strategy. Governance, Compliance & RiskEnsure the Nordic operation complies with TXO Group policies, procedures and governance requirements.Ensure compliance with applicable Swedish, Nordic and European legislation and regulatory requirements.Maintain appropriate standards across health & safety, environmental compliance, employment practices, data protection and operational risk.Identify, assess and mitigate business and operational risks.Ensure appropriate internal controls are maintained across the business.Work collaboratively with Group functions including Finance, HR, IT, Legal, Compliance and Operations. Stakeholder & External RelationshipsAct as TXO’s senior representative across the Nordic region.Develop strong relationships with customers, suppliers, strategic partners and other key stakeholders.Build relationships with relevant industry bodies, authorities and governmental organisations where appropriate.Represent TXO at relevant industry events, customer meetings and commercial forums.Strengthen TXO’s reputation and market position within the Nordic circular economy, technology lifecycle and asset recovery markets. Business Transformation & GrowthSupport the continued evolution of TXO’s Nordic operating model.Lead initiatives designed to increase scalability and commercial performance.Identify opportunities to leverage TXO’s global capabilities and customer relationships within the Nordic market.Encourage innovation in technology lifecycle management, asset recovery, reuse, refurbishment and circular economy solutions.Work cross-functionally with Group teams to introduce new products, services and capabilities into the Nordic market.Support strategic projects, acquisitions, integrations or other transformation initiatives as required. About you Proven senior leadership experience within a commercial, operational or country management environment.Experience managing a business unit, country operation or significant operational function.Demonstrable experience of delivering revenue growth and improving profitability.Strong commercial and financial understanding, including experience managing budgets and/or P&L.Experience leading and developing teams across multiple functions.Strong customer and stakeholder management skills.Demonstrable experience of operational improvement and continuous improvement.Experience developing and implementing business strategies and plans.Strong understanding of governance, compliance and risk management.Experience working within an international or multinational organisation. QualificationsDegree or equivalent professional qualification in Business, Management, Operations, Finance, Engineering or a related discipline is desirable.Relevant senior leadership, commercial or operational qualifications are advantageous.Significant relevant management experience may be considered in place of formal qualifications. LanguagesFluent Swedish and English essential.Additional Nordic language capability would be advantageous.
