🧠 Creative Strategist — DTC Meta Advertising MECS001FIND THE CREATIVE THAT LETS DTC BRANDS SCALE META SPEND TO $1M+/MO WITHOUT BREAKING CPA Remote | Full-Time | $4,000–$7,000 USD/month | UK/Europe preferred Job SnapshotYour job is simple to define and difficult to do:Find the angles, hooks, concepts, and messages that allow DTC brands to spend more on Meta — profitably. You’ll own creative strategy across a portfolio of e-commerce brands, turning customer research, competitor intelligence, and ad-account data into creative that beats the existing control. This is not a brand strategy role.It is not organic social. And it is definitely not a role where you brainstorm ideas based on what “feels creative.”We research. We form hypotheses. We ship. We measure. We iterate. About the CompanyWe’re a performance creative agency focused specifically on Meta ad creative for DTC and e-commerce brands. The company was built by two brothers who first learned this game by scaling their own Meta spend beyond $1M/month.Today, we use that experience to help e-commerce brands find the creative angles that unlock profitable scale. Our work has helped brands scale, with clients spanning jewelry, automotive accessories, supplements, beauty, wellness, and other DTC categories. We’re not a general design agency. We don’t make creative simply because it looks good. Our creative has a job: earn profitable spend. The Role OverviewYou’ll be the strategic owner of approximately 5–6 client accounts. For every account, you need to understand:Who are we selling to? Why do they buy? What have they already seen? What is working? What is fatigued? What should we test next — and why? You’ll research the market, analyze performance, develop creative concepts, write UGC scripts and static briefs, and work with editors, designers, and creator coordinators to bring those ideas into market. Then you’ll read the results and use them to make the next round smarter.Clients should leave conversations with you understanding their market better than when they entered. You are not an order-taker.You are the strategic anchor of the account. ResponsibilitiesYou will own five core outcomes:1. Produce winning creative.Develop research-backed concepts designed to beat each client’s existing control ads and unlock additional profitable Meta spend.2. Turn research into strategy.Conduct customer psychology, persona, competitor, winning-ad, market sophistication, awareness-level, trend, and account-performance research before each round.3. Turn strategy into executable creative.Build concept slates, UGC scripts, static briefs, hooks, angles, and creator briefing inputs that production can execute without ambiguity.4. Stay ahead of creative fatigue.Identify declining performance before it becomes an account problem and keep fresh angles and formats entering the pipeline.5. Own the learning loop.Analyze launched creative, isolate what drove performance, document the learning, and use it to improve the next round. You’ll also present strategy, participate in onboarding and discovery calls, review rounds with clients, and communicate directly with brand founders. What Success Looks LikeYou’re winning when new concepts consistently beat control and earn profitable spend. We’ll look at:% of new concepts beating control — your creative hit rateHook rate / 3-second view rateHold rateCTRCPA and ROAS versus account baselineOn-time round deliveryFirst-submission QA pass rate / rework rateClient retention and renewalThe bigger picture is simple:Your creative gives clients somewhere profitable to put their next dollar of Meta spend. Required ExperienceThis is a mid-to-senior specialist role. You need enough experience to independently own strategy and confidently defend your thinking to founders. You should have:2+ years producing paid-social creative for DTC/e-commerce brands, specifically on MetaA portfolio of ads you personally conceived and briefed, ideally with real performance numbersDirect experience writing UGC scripts and briefing static conceptsExperience reading Meta ad accounts and diagnosing creative performanceStrong direct-response fundamentals: hooks, angles, awareness stages, market sophistication and conversion psychologyExperience operating across multiple client accounts and fixed production roundsClient-facing experience presenting strategy and handling founder feedbackExcellent written and spoken EnglishFamiliarity with Eugene Schwartz and Breakthrough Advertising is a strong plus.Experience in regulated or claim-sensitive categories such as supplements, wellness, or health is also valuable. This role is NOT for:General marketers, social media managers, organic content strategists, or brand creatives trying to transition into performance marketing.Meta paid-social creative experience is non-negotiable.If you claim performance results, expect us to ask about the account, spend, timeframe, creative and what actually drove the result. Tools / EnvironmentYou’ll work with:Meta Ads ManagerMeta Ads LibraryGoogle Docs, Sheets, Slides and DriveChatGPT / ClaudeCanva or Figma for basic mockups and annotationsSlack, ClickUp, Notion or similar project-management systemsWindsor.ai or comparable reporting toolsTool knowledge matters.Your ability to think from the data matters more. Compensation & Benefits$4,000–$7,000 USD/month,varies by location, depending on experience and demonstrated ability. This is a full-time, exclusive role. You cannot simultaneously manage freelance clients or work for another agency. The role is remote, with a strong preference for candidates based in the UK or Europe. Exceptional US-based candidates may be considered if they can maintain reliable overlap with the team and scheduled client calls. Hiring ProcessApplication → Portfolio / Results Review → Interview → Practical Evaluation → OfferWe will assess the work you actually produced and the thinking behind it.Expect to discuss real ads, real numbers, why something worked, why something failed, and what you would test next. Who Thrives HereYou’ll thrive if you’re proactive, analytical, and accountable. You spot fatigue before someone tells you the account has a problem. You look at performance and form a hypothesis instead of waiting for someone else to explain the numbers. You enjoy customer psychology as much as creative execution. You can defend an idea without becoming emotionally attached to it.And when your creative loses, your first instinct is not to make excuses. It’s to understand why and build the next winner.Who Will StruggleYou’ll struggle here if you rely primarily on taste, trends, or intuition. If you need someone else to tell you what to research, what the data means, or what to test next, this environment will feel uncomfortable. And if you want to make beautiful creative without being accountable for whether it converts, this is the wrong agency.
