About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Cyber Defence professional to provide operational leadership and continuity during a temporary period. You’ll help lead Security Operations, coordinate incident and threat management, and support the team in day-to-day cyber defence activities. The role is hands-on and leadership-focused, with responsibility for improving security operations, monitoring and incident response.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate Security Operations (SOC)Drive incident management and threat follow-upSupport the team with operational security mattersHelp lead P1 and major security incidents when needed, including occasional outside-office-hours supportFollow up on security actions, risks and improvement initiativesCoordinate with internal teams and external service providersAct as a subject matter expert on cyber defense and security operationsImprove MTTR (Mean Time to Respond/Recover)Increase security monitoring and detection coverageEnsure timely follow-up of incidents, threats and vulnerabilitiesTranslate technical findings into clear actions and reportingCommunicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Requirements

Strong professional background in SOC, Incident Response and Cyber DefenceExperience leading or coordinating Security OperationsStrong experience in incident management and threat follow-upExperience with Microsoft XDR and Microsoft SentinelExperience with Palo Alto security solutionsUnderstanding of modern identity and non-human identity risksExperience coordinating with internal teams and external service providersStrong stakeholder management and communication skillsAbility to analyse technical security findings and translate them into clear actionsExperience working with security monitoring, detection and vulnerability managementAbility to work effectively in high-pressure incident situations
