Senior Data Engineer | Microsoft Fabric | Stockholm / Gothenburg / Malmö A growing Microsoft-focused consultancy is building out its Data & AI practice and is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to help design and deliver modern data platforms for enterprise customers. This is an opportunity to join a specialist team working at the forefront of Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Platform, AI and data modernisation, helping organisations move from legacy environments to scalable cloud-based analytics platforms. What you'll be doingDesigning and building end-to-end data pipelines within Microsoft FabricDeveloping Lakehouse architectures across Bronze, Silver and Gold layersCreating scalable data models and semantic models for analytics and reportingIntegrating enterprise systems, APIs and business applications into modern data platformsImplementing DataOps, CI/CD and automated testing practicesEnsuring data quality, governance and security across client environmentsCollaborating with architects, developers and business stakeholders throughout project deliverySupporting technical workshops, solution design and client discussions where appropriate What we're looking forSeveral years of hands-on data engineering experienceStrong expertise within the Microsoft ecosystemExperience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Platform and modern cloud data architecturesStrong SQL and data modelling skillsExperience building and maintaining production-grade data pipelinesKnowledge of DevOps/DataOps practices, source control and CI/CDStrong communication skills and the ability to work directly with customersFluent Swedish and English preferred Nice to haveMicrosoft Fabric certificationsExperience with Dynamics 365 or DataverseExposure to data governance and Microsoft PurviewExperience working within consultancy or client-facing environments What's on offerOpportunity to work on cutting-edge Microsoft Fabric projectsExposure to Data, AI and Agentic AI initiativesHigh degree of influence in a growing practiceHybrid working environmentLong-term career progression within a rapidly expanding area of the Microsoft ecosystem Location: Stockholm, Gothenburg or MalmöEmployment: PermanentLanguage: Fluent Swedish required
