Data Privacy Lawyer

Interim Senior Privacy Counsel | Europe | €500–€600/day | 3 days per week JHB & Partners is working with an international business looking to appoint an experienced Senior Privacy Counsel on an interim basis. The business requires additional senior-level support within its privacy function and is looking for someone who can step in quickly, operate autonomously and provide practical, commercially focused advice across a range of data and emerging technology matters. The assignment will include:Advising on complex data protection and privacy matters across the businessSupporting work relating to the EU Digital Services Act and EU AI ActProviding pragmatic advice to legal and business stakeholdersHelping manage priorities across a busy privacy workloadPotentially providing some oversight and support to other members of the team We're particularly interested in speaking with experienced privacy lawyers who have worked in international, technology or digitally focused businesses and are comfortable operating with limited supervision. Details📍 Europe – remote/flexible location📅 Start: ideally mid-October⏳ Initial term: until at least the end of December, with potential to extend🗓 3 days per week💶 €500–€600 per day, depending on experience There may ultimately be an opportunity to move into a permanent position, although the business expects to run a separate permanent recruitment process.
