The organization drives next-generation vehicle architectures, digital technologies, and intelligent systems for international markets.

You will join the Data Solutions and Products team as part of a Cloud Platform and Data. Our team designs, develops, operates and continuously improves Geely Auto’s European vehicle data platforms and data services. We build and maintain data warehouses, integrate vehicle data sources, and develop reliable batch and streaming data pipelines, data models and APIs. Our solutions support internal vehicle data services—including data query and analytics, ADAS dashboards, battery health reporting, regulatory reporting, and ML/AI pipelines—as well as external B2B data services that securely expose vehicle data to customers and partners. In addition, the team is responsible for data product operations, data platform maintenance, data quality monitoring, access management, data governance, compliance, cost optimization and the operation of data products developed by global teams for the European market. As a Data Product Engineer, you will develop and maintain internal vehicle data services, including data analytics, reporting and ML/AI pipelines. You will also operate and continuously improve global data products in the EU, covering configuration, releases, troubleshooting, validation and data quality monitoring.

2–4 years of experience in data engineering, data product development, data platform operations or a related field. At least Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience. Practical experience developing and maintaining batch or streaming data pipelines and data processing workflows. Good understanding of data warehousing, data modelling, ETL/ELT processes and data quality management. Proficiency in SQL and working knowledge of Python or another programming language. Familiarity with data processing technologies such as Apache Spark, Kafka, Flink or equivalent tools. Experience with cloud data platforms, preferably AWS services such as S3, Redshift, EMR or Glue, and/or Ali cloud services Familiarity with data platform technologies such as Databricks, Snowflake or equivalent platforms is an advantage. Experience developing or supporting data services, dashboards, or other data products. Experience with data product operations, including product configuration, release and upgrade support, validation testing, issue troubleshooting and data quality monitoring. Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, software testing, monitoring and production support. Ability to use Power BI for data analysis, reporting and dashboard development. Basic understanding of data security, access management, privacy and compliance. Experience with connected vehicle data or automotive data services is preferred. Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with business, product, engineering, infrastructure and international teams. Fluent in English; Chinese language is strongly preferred

Job responsibilities

Design, develop and maintain scalable batch and streaming data pipelines for internal vehicle data services. Build data processing workflows for data cleansing, transformation, modelling and preparation for analytics, reporting and ML/AI use cases. Develop and maintain data products such as vehicle data analysis services, dashboards and regulatory or battery health reports. Collaborate with infrastructure and product teams to operate and maintain the data pipelines, data products, cloud services and related integrations. Monitor pipeline performance, data quality and system health; diagnose and resolve issues across data pipelines, storage and integrations. Design and maintain data models for reporting and analytics, and develop simple dashboards using Power BI. Document data pipelines, architectures, workflows and operational procedures to support knowledge sharing and maintainability. Operate and continuously improve EU data products, including configuration, release and upgrade management, validation testing, issue resolution and data quality monitoring. Support data consumers or data product suers by providing technical guidance, data access and solutions to technical challenges. Manage product issues, user requests and change requirements throughout the product lifecycle, coordinating with global product, engineering and local business teams. Perform product validation, function and cloud to database testing to ensure the availability, functionality and quality of data products
