Database Reliability Engineer / Mainland Europe – Remote About the Role: An opportunity for a senior Database Reliability Engineer to design, operate and improve production database environments, with a strong focus on PostgreSQL. The role covers high availability, failover, performance troubleshooting, database automation, and AI tooling alongside MongoDB and the opportunity to develop open-source database management expertise.

You’ll become part of a focused technical team where database expertise, automation and modern AI approaches are central to improving operations, while collaborating closely with experienced DBRE professionals and a Technical Program Manager.

Compensation, Benefits & Opportunities: Work as part of a growing specialist DBRE team, with two additional engineers being hired.Develop hands-on expertise with capacity to expand skillsets with strong autonomy Use modern automation technologies including Ansible, Terraform and similar infrastructure tooling.Apply and expand your knowledge of AI tools and approaches within database reliability workflows. To Be Successful, You’ll Need: 5+ years of PostgreSQL experience, including designing and operating PostgreSQL clusters. 2–3+ years of MongoDB experience. 5+ years of overall Database Administration experience.
