Location: Fully Remote Contract Type: Freelance / ContractDuration: Minimum 12 monthsDaily Rate: CHF 300/day (fixed rate) Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain end-to-end data pipelines using Databricks.Build scalable ETL/ELT processes for structured and semi-structured data.Develop data transformations using Python, PySpark, and SQL.Optimize Spark jobs, data models, and queries for performance and cost efficiency.Implement and manage Delta Lake architectures and data quality processes.Collaborate with technical and business teams to understand data requirements.Ensure the reliability, security, and documentation of data solutions.Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices. Required SkillsProven experience as a Data Engineer, with strong hands-on expertise in Databricks.Strong knowledge of Apache Spark / PySpark, Python, and SQL.Experience with data lakes, Delta Lake, ETL/ELT, and data warehousing concepts.Experience with cloud platforms, ideally Azure and Azure Databricks.Knowledge of CI/CD, Git, and DevOps practices is a plus.Strong problem-solving and communication skills.Professional level of English.
