About KPIT:Experts in software for the automotive industryThe only embedded software company with comprehensive expertise across all CASE domainsStrategic partner to more than 25 global leaders in the mobility sectorHome to more than 13,000 engineers with a passion for mobilityGlobal presence in Asia, Europe, and North and South America ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, and maintain software tools that support the development, integration, and release of software running on the Core Computer platform.Contribute to the development of a modern, scalable, and reliable embedded software development environment.Build and optimize Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) workflows to improve software quality and delivery efficiency.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support software development, integration, testing, and deployment activities.Develop and maintain automation solutions, tooling, and scripts to streamline engineering processes.Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve issues related to build systems, toolchains, and development environments.Ensure software solutions meet requirements for safety, reliability, security, and performance.Participate in code reviews, testing activities, and continuous improvement initiatives across the platform organization. Skills & Competencies Required SkillsStrong software development experience in Python.Good development experience in C/C++ within Linux or POSIX-based environments.Hands-on experience with Linux systems and Shell scripting.Understanding of software build, integration, and release processes.Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and development automation.Knowledge of software engineering best practices, including version control, testing, and code reviews.Familiarity with embedded systems development and platform software environments.Preferred SkillsExperience with development and DevOps tools such as Gerrit, Bazel, Zuul, Jenkins, and Docker.Knowledge of build systems, containerization technologies, and software deployment frameworks.Experience working in automotive, embedded, or safety-critical software environments.
