DevSecOps consulant

Role Description This full-time DevSecOps Consultant role at BeyondNow Group is an on-site position based in Stockholm. The consultant will design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines, integrating security controls throughout the software development lifecycle. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with development, operations, and security teams to automate infrastructure, conduct security assessments, and remediate vulnerabilities. The role involves monitoring application and cloud environments, improving security posture through policy and tooling, and documenting best practices and standards. The consultant will also support incident response activities, provide guidance on secure architecture, and mentor teams on DevSecOps principles. Qualifications Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and automation platforms (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) and infrastructure-as-code technologies (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization/orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) with a focus on secure configuration and operation.Experience implementing application security practices and tools (e.g., SAST, DAST, SCA, secrets management) and integrating them into development workflows.Proficiency in scripting or programming languages commonly used in DevOps environments (e.g., Python, Bash, Go) for automation and tooling.Understanding of security frameworks and standards (e.g., OWASP, ISO 27001, NIST) and familiarity with compliance requirements relevant to cloud-native systems.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify risks and propose pragmatic, secure solutions.Effective communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in cross-functional and agile teams.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Security, or equivalent practical experience; relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCSK, AWS/Azure security) are an advantage.Professional proficiency in English; Swedish language skills are beneficial but not mandatory.Ability to work on-site in Stockholm and support stakeholders across different projects and time zones as needed.
