Director – Corporate Finance, Infrastructure Leading Nordic Bank A leading Nordic bank is seeking a Director to strengthen its Infrastructure Corporate Finance team. The role combines origination, senior client relationship management and M&A execution, advising infrastructure investors, financial sponsors and corporate clients on strategic transactions.Coverage spans core and core-plus infrastructure, including energy and utilities, renewable generation and storage, digital infrastructure, transport and logistics, environmental services and social infrastructure.

The role You will develop client relationships and lead M&A advisory mandates, taking responsibility for transactions from initial strategic discussions and valuation through negotiations and completion.Working closely with sector specialists, financing teams and senior management, you will help clients evaluate acquisitions, disposals, partnerships and investment opportunities across the infrastructure sector. Key responsibilities Originate and execute buy-side and sell-side M&A mandates involving infrastructure assets, platforms and businesses.Develop relationships with infrastructure funds, financial sponsors, utilities, asset owners and corporate clients.Advise on acquisitions, divestments, minority investments, joint ventures and strategic partnerships.Lead valuation and financial analysis, including discounted cash-flow modelling, comparable company analysis and transaction benchmarking.Oversee preparation of pitches, information memoranda, management presentations and transaction materials.Manage transaction processes, including buyer identification, investor engagement, due diligence and negotiations.Coordinate with debt advisory, financing and capital markets colleagues where transactions require funding solutions.Supervise and develop junior colleagues, maintaining high standards of analysis and execution. Candidate requirements Director-level experience, or a strong Vice President ready to progress, within corporate finance, M&A advisory or investment banking.A demonstrable track record of executing infrastructure or energy and utilities M&A transactions.Strong understanding of infrastructure valuation, including regulated, contracted and demand-based business models.Experience advising infrastructure funds, financial sponsors or corporate clients on acquisitions and disposals.Excellent financial modelling, valuation and transaction management skills.Ability to lead negotiations and communicate confidently with senior executives and investment professionals.Commercial judgement and evidence of originating mandates or contributing materially to business development.A collaborative approach and experience managing and mentoring junior team members.
