About CapFore CapFore covers the whole NPL cycle on unsecured consumer portfolios, using our own purpose-built platform and a common operating model adapted to local market and regulatory requirements. That platform is the engine. It runs newly acquired portfolios for institutional investors, and existing back books for credit institutions and collection agencies looking to improve recovery performance and economics. Sweden is already operational, with the first mandates secured and portfolios on the platform. As we continue to scale our Swedish business, we are now looking for an Operations Director to take responsibility for the day-to-day performance and continued development of our Swedish collection operations. The roleAs Operations Director, Sweden, you are responsible for the day-to-day performance and continued development of CapFore’s Swedish collection operations, with responsibility for the operational management and recovery performance of our NPL portfolios.You work closely with the Country Manager, the Legal Counsel and our Nordic Operations and Technology teams to ensure that portfolios are managed efficiently, compliantly and with strong recovery performance.This is a hands-on operational role, particularly during the build-up phase of our Swedish business. You will be directly involved in day-to-day collection work and case handling, which gives you a detailed understanding of the portfolios, the processes and the system. That involvement is an important part of identifying improvements and building an efficient, scalable Swedish operation. As the business grows, the role shifts towards operational leadership, performance management, process development and building the Swedish operations team.You report to the Country Manager, Sweden, with a functional reporting line to CapFore’s Nordic Operations organisation.You will be employed by CapFore AB. Our Swedish office is in Gothenburg, where we expect you to spend around three days a week. Key responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day performance of CapFore’s Swedish collection operations• Take part in day-to-day collection and case handling during the build-up phase• Use that hands-on experience to identify and implement improvements in processes, system functionality and automation• Own the operational management and recovery performance of Swedish NPL portfolios, translating portfolio business plans and investment assumptions into collection strategies and execution• Drive recovery performance, productivity and cost efficiency across Swedish portfolios• Develop and continuously improve collection strategies, workflows and borrower journeys• Use data and portfolio performance to optimise treatment strategies, segmentation and channel selection• Ensure effective handling of payment plans, settlements, disputes, legal referrals and other key collection processes• Work closely with the Legal Counsel on legal collection, Kronofogden processes, disputed claims and regulatory requirements• Ensure operational compliance with Swedish collection requirements, internal policies and agreed client mandates• Manage operational implementation and onboarding of new NPL portfolios and servicing mandates• Identify the root causes behind operational or recovery underperformance and implement corrective actions• Work closely with Technology on system development, integrations and automation• Build and develop the Swedish operational organisation as the business grows• Support the Country Manager in client dialogue, portfolio reviews and operational reporting

Your background We are looking for an experienced collection professional with a strong operational background and solid hands-on experience from debt collection. You understand the collection process in detail and know how to turn collection strategies into operational execution and recovery performance. More important than the size of the organisation you have managed before is your ability to take ownership, understand performance and develop a high-performing operation built on technology and data.

• Hands-on experience within debt collection, credit servicing or credit management• Command of the full collection lifecycle, from amicable collection through legal collection and enforcement
• Experience in developing and executing collection and recovery strategies• A working grasp of recovery performance, cash collections and operational KPIs• Experience working with Kronofogden and Swedish legal collection processes• Experience with NPL portfolios and purchased debt is an advantage• Experience with segmentation, treatment strategies and data-driven collection• Experience with technology, automation and process development is a strong advantage• Leadership experience and the ability to build and develop a growing operational team• A hands-on, pragmatic and solution-oriented mindset• A genuine interest in challenging established collection practices and developing better ways of working
• A willingness to work directly with collection cases during the build-up phase• Fluent Swedish and English• Experience from a debt purchaser, a credit servicer or DCA, a bank, a consumer finance company or another credit-focused institution is directly relevant

Why CapFore CapFore started in Finland in 2024 and today operates across Finland and Sweden through a lean, founder-led organisation in Helsinki and Gothenburg, with short decision paths and one technology platform. Norway and Poland are planned to launch in early 2027. The Swedish business has a proven foundation, but much of its future is still there to be built. As Operations Director, you will shape how collection is performed, develop the operating model and use technology and data to improve recovery performance as the Swedish business grows.
