Director of Operations
Eyr Holistic is a fast-growing consumer goods company with four brands and around 50 SKUs, sold direct-to-consumer and expanding into retail in 2027.

The roleThe Director of Operations owns everything between a product idea and a customer's doorstep, across all four brands. You will run manufacturing, fulfillment, quality, suppliers and product COGS, and lead our vertical integration, starting with building and operating a new factory in Poland.This is an owner's seat, not a coordinator's. You decide where and how we produce, which vendors to keep, which capabilities to bring in-house, and you negotiate so we pay the best possible price at all times. As we launch into retail next year, you will also own the operational side of that channel.

Key responsibilities Manufacturing• Manage our contract manufacturers across four countries: capacity, lead times, production planning and on-time delivery• Decide where and how each product is made, balancing cost, quality, speed and risk Fulfillment and logistics• Oversee our warehouses in four countries and the 3PL partners behind them• Drive delivery speed, accuracy and cost per order; plan inventory placement across marketsCOGS and negotiations• Own product COGS for all ~50 SKUs and a roadmap to lower them every year• Lead negotiations with manufacturers, 3PLs and suppliers so we always have the best possible prices and terms Quality• Set and enforce quality standards, inspections and corrective actions across every site• Keep returns, defects and customer complaints from production issues trending down Suppliers• Manage raw material and component suppliers in China and Europe• Build supplier redundancy, run audits and protect us from supply disruptions Strategy and vertical integration• Think like an owner about the whole operation: which vendors to keep, replace or integrate, and what to bring in-house• Build the business cases for vertical integration and present them to the founders Retail operations (from 2027)• Set up the operational backbone for retail: packaging, labelling, compliance, retailer logistics and replenishment The big project: our own factory in PolandYou will lead our first vertical integration project end to end, from business case to a running factory.Plan: define which products and processes move in-house, capacity needs, capex and paybackBuild: select the site, equipment and contractors; manage budget and timeline; secure permits and certificationsStaff: hire the plant leadership and production teamRamp up: transfer production from contract manufacturers without disrupting supply or qualityOperate: run the factory to clear targets on cost, output, quality and safetyIf Poland succeeds, the same playbook may be used to open factories in the U.S., and you will lead that too. What success looks like• First 3 months: full map of manufacturers, warehouses, suppliers and COGS per SKU; first renegotiation wins; Poland factory business case and plan approved• First 6 months: measurable COGS and fulfillment cost reductions; quality KPIs tracked across every site; factory site and key equipment secured• First 12 months: Poland factory built and ramping; retail operations live and running smoothly; a clear view on the next integration step, including the U.S. What we're looking for Must have• 10+ years in operations, manufacturing or supply chain for physical consumer products, with 5+ years in a senior leadership role• Hands-on experience managing contract manufacturers and 3PLs across several countries• A track record of cutting COGS and winning tough supplier negotiations, with numbers to show for it• Experience building, launching or running a production facility (greenfield or major expansion)• Experience sourcing from China and Europe• Strong financial thinking: unit economics, capex, business cases, payback• Ownership mentality: you act like it's your own company and your own money• Fluent English; willing to travel regularly, especially to Poland Nice to have• Polish language or experience operating in Poland or Central Europe• Retail operations experience (retailer compliance, EDI, replenishment)• Background in a DTC or e-commerce brand• Experience with U.S. manufacturing or plant set-up
