Director of Product Design – B2C EcommerceRemote across Europe | Contractor£100k–£120k + year-end performance bonusHours: 12pm–8pm UK time We’re hiring a Director of Product Design for an established international B2C ecommerce company. You’ll lead a small design team, set the product design vision and raise the quality of the customer experience across mobile and web. Around 80% of the role is focused on leadership, strategy and developing the team, while remaining close enough to the work and hands-on to support important product decisions. What you’ll doSet the product design and customer experience strategyCoach and develop the design teamIntroduce advanced AI workflows across prototyping, motion and productionStrengthen customer research, usability testing and experimentationConnect design decisions to conversion, retention and revenueDevelop the design system across mobile and webPartner with product and senior leadership What we’re looking for10+ years in product design, including 4+ years managing designersStrong B2C experience across mobile and responsive webEvidence of improving measurable customer or commercial outcomesAdvanced use of AI in a current or recent design roleStrong research, experimentation and design systems experienceA portfolio showing work delivered by your teams and its impact Working arrangementThe role is open to candidates across Europe on a contractor basis.
