Senior .NET Developer – StockholmRole OverviewSenior .NET Developer working on long-term, business-critical insurance systems in Stockholm. The role combines hands-on C#/.NET development, technical leadership, architecture, cloud-native technologies, event-driven systems, and observability.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and architect business-critical applications using C# and modern .NET.Take technical ownership across architecture, design, implementation, and further development.Design and optimize hybrid data-storage strategies, including distributed SQL and high-performance in-memory/document databases.Architect event-driven and asynchronous solutions using AMQP-based messaging.Implement and improve observability, monitoring, and system reliability using tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, and SolarWinds.Provide technical direction to engineering teams and mentor other developers.Integrate cloud-native capabilities into enterprise applications.Work closely with clients and participate in technical discussions and decision-making.Develop within agile teams with shared technical responsibility.Must-Have Skills8–12 years of professional experience with .NET / C#.Strong hands-on C# development experience.Extensive experience with modern .NET, particularly .NET 8 / .NET 10.Strong knowledge of distributed/hybrid data storage.Experience with distributed SQL databases.Experience with high-performance in-memory / JSON document stores.Strong understanding of event-driven architecture.Hands-on experience with AMQP / asynchronous messaging.Experience with observability and monitoring tools:SplunkDynatraceSolarWindsStrong technical architecture and leadership experience.Fluent English, both written and spoken.Good-to-Have SkillsREST API development and external system integrations.Azure / Microsoft Cloud ecosystem.Cloud-native application hosting.Microservices architecture.Enterprise cloud design patterns.Client-facing consulting experience.
