Embedded Software Engineer – Thermal Management

In this role, you will contribute to the development of software solutions within Thermal Management, helping to create efficient and sustainable vehicle systems for future transport solutions. About the roleAs an Embedded Software Engineer, you will be part of a team responsible for the development and maintenance of application software controlling thermal management systems. The work includes both new feature development and continuous improvements of existing functionality.This position is well suited for an engineer who enjoys combining technical depth with a system perspective, while contributing to the development of complex mechatronic systems. Main responsibilitiesDevelop and maintain embedded software for thermal management applicationsPerform requirements breakdown, software design, implementation, testing, and verificationSupport system tuning, calibration, and functional verification activitiesContribute to the development of new features and functionalityDrive quality and readiness activities before software releasesSupport system integration and verification in simulation, rig, and vehicle environmentsContribute to technical roadmaps, methods, and continuous improvements Your profileYou are a self-driven and solution-oriented engineer with a genuine interest in embedded systems and technology. You enjoy solving complex technical challenges and collaborating with colleagues across different functions and locations. We see that you have:M.Sc. in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or equivalentExperience in Embedded Software DevelopmentExperience with control strategy development and software verificationExperience with functional verification and system calibrationGood communication skills in English, both written and spokenAbility to work effectively in a cross-functional and international environment Meritorious:Knowledge of automotive thermal management systemsExperience with SIL, MIL, or HIL testingExperience with MATLAB, Simulink, TargetLink, Jenkins, Embedded Coder, C, C++, or PythonExperience planning, performing, and analyzing rig or vehicle testingExperience working within the automotive industryC or CE driving license We warmly welcome your application already today!
