EMC Engineer
Join a global, team-oriented organization as our EMC Engineer in our Eura, Finland office where the work is interesting and the days are filled with exciting, new types of projects for a wide variety of clients. As our EMC Engineer, you will be part of the global EMC system team. You will work with the sales team and the local project execution team in pre- and post-sales activities. Your activity will be key during throughout all project life cycle, from sales, design execution and service activity. Part of your duty will include integration of our EMC system at customer’s location mainly in Europe. Position DescriptionSupport sales & marketing department in an overall effort to grow the company’s test and measurement sales by providing: technical support during prospect sales visit, pre-sales system design, pre-sales chamber design, OTC sales technical support, product demos, regularly submit articles to both trade and peer reviewed journals, supporting technical seminars and presenting technical papers.Training of both internal and external customer: on house software (Tile, Vision TRX), EMC systems and components.Provide technical support to service department, including on site activities such as shield effectiveness test, positioning equipment debugging, Vision TRX installation.EMC system project design, documentation and software profileEMC systems in house pre-integration and on site integrationPerform chamber verification testing at customer sites (SE, NSA, Syswr, FU). Support the ISO 17025 accrediation process and maintain test equipment pool in working order and calibration. RequirementsBachelor’s degree in a technical field1-2 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination or education and experienceExperience with TILE! Software is an assetPrior experience with RF Measurement Software (EMQuest, EMC 32 or other) is an assetUse computer aided engineering and design software and equipment to perform essential engineering tasksProficient in the use of applicable test equipment such as vector network analyzers, signal sources, amps, communication testers and measurement softwareAbility to read, analyze, and interpret applicable scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documentsAbility to comprehend and apply principles of advances calculus, modern algebra, and advances statistical theoryAbility to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business communityAbility to write speeches, and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format.Excellent presentation skillsAbility to act independentlyAbility to use English as working language (written and spoken)Ability to travel up to 70% of working time (mainly in Europe)
