Engineering Lead

Enersense Engineering is currently looking for an Engineering Lead for its client in Helsinki, Finland. The position is due to start as soon as possible.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a large-scale brownfield tank renewal project from the feasibility phase through implementation and execution.

As an Engineering Lead, you will work closely with the Project Manager and be responsible for leading and coordinating multidisciplinary engineering activities, ensuring the successful progress and delivery of the project.

Main Tasks And Responsibilities

Take overall responsibility for coordinating the project's engineering activities in close cooperation with the Project ManagerLead and coordinate activities across multiple engineering disciplines, including civil, mechanical, piping, electrical, instrumentation, automation and process engineeringDefine the project scope, objectives, deliverables, engineering plans and schedulesPlan engineering resources in cooperation with the relevant engineering disciplinesLead the engineering team and allocate tasks and responsibilitiesSupport concept development during the pre-engineering phaseWork closely with the site organization to ensure smooth execution and resolve coordination challenges between different engineering disciplinesCoordinate engineering related to tanks, pumps, piping, valves and associated process equipmentManage engineering documentation and report on project progressEnsure that engineering work complies with industry standards, regulatory requirements and other applicable regulations

Relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree in EngineeringExperience in large-scale industrial engineering projects, particularly brownfield projectsGood understanding of engineering processes, multidisciplinary engineering and local regulationsExperience in engineering planning, engineering management, front-end/pre-engineering phases and supporting project executionSite experience and knowledge of tanks, pumps, piping and valvesExcellent technical problem-solving, communication, leadership and coordination skillsExperience leading engineering teams and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively under pressureEnglish language skills
