Key ResponsibilitiesFacilitate structured and interactive individual and group English mentoring sessions through virtual platforms.Evaluate learners' current language abilities and determine specific areas requiring development.Establish individualized learning strategies aligned with learners' objectives, proficiency levels, and professional aspirations.Provide guidance across grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, speaking, listening, reading, and writing.Assist learners in developing greater confidence and accuracy in professional and general English communication.Guide learners in effective business correspondence, presentations, reports, meetings, interviews, and workplace interactions.Conduct practical speaking activities to strengthen fluency, pronunciation, clarity, and conversational effectiveness.Support learners in developing academic writing, business communication, presentation, and professional documentation skills.Prepare and facilitate relevant exercises, assignments, assessments, and other learning activities.Deliver clear, constructive, and meaningful feedback to help learners recognize and address areas for improvement.Evaluate learner development and maintain appropriate records of progress and participation.Recognize individual learning challenges and recommend suitable resources, activities, and improvement strategies.Promote active participation through discussions, role plays, presentations, and practical communication exercises.Foster a professional, encouraging, and inclusive virtual learning environment.Integrate real-life examples, workplace situations, and practical scenarios into mentoring sessions.Utilize digital learning resources and interactive tools to deliver an effective online learning experience.Assist learners with English-language interviews, professional presentations, workplace communication, and related development needs.Refine mentoring methods based on learner performance, feedback, and evolving learning requirements.Coordinate with the wider mentoring and academic team to strengthen learning resources and overall learner outcomes.Ensure consistent, professional communication and maintain high standards throughout the mentoring process. RequirementsExcellent proficiency in both written and spoken English.Bachelor's degree in English, Education, Linguistics, Communication, or a related field is preferred.Minimum 2 years of experience in English teaching, tutoring, mentoring, coaching, training, or a related communication-focused role.Strong knowledge of English grammar, vocabulary, sentence construction, pronunciation, and effective communication.Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication abilities.Ability to communicate language concepts in a clear, practical, and easy-to-understand manner.Strong interpersonal and learner-engagement skills.Comfortable delivering online sessions and working with digital education platforms.Effective time-management, organizational, and session-planning abilities.Professional, patient, approachable, and learner-focused attitude.Ability to provide constructive guidance and encourage learners to achieve continuous improvement. Preferred QualificationsTEFL, TESOL, CELTA, or another recognized English-language teaching certification.Experience working with university students, graduates, international learners, or working professionals.Background in Business English, corporate communication, or professional language training.Experience supporting interview preparation, presentation delivery, academic writing, or workplace communication.Prior experience conducting virtual teaching, training, or mentoring programs.Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS), virtual classrooms, and online collaboration platforms.Experience designing lesson plans, assessments, educational materials, or digital learning resources.
