ESG Manager – BESS EuropeLocation: EuropeReporting to: Head of LONGi BESS Europe Key ResponsibilitiesInterpret EU regulatory requirements applicable to BESS, including the EU Battery Regulation, communicate relevant requirements to internal departments, and drive implementation and development activities.Engage with BESS industry associations, align on industry requirements, maintain regular stakeholder relationships, and communicate relevant requirements and updates internally.Review BESS customer questionnaires, assess and clarify LONGi's capabilities, and coordinate internal responses to support customer qualification and shortlist eligibility.Interpret ESG/CSR requirements in BESS customer tenders, develop appropriate ESG and traceability solutions, and follow up on relevant clarifications with customers and financing institutions.Organize and coordinate customer on-site visits and receptions related to BESS projects.Define audit scope, coordinate risk assessment activities, liaise with third-party auditors for BESS projects, and follow up on audit findings to ensure satisfactory results. QualificationsBachelor's degree or above in ESG, Sustainability, Engineering, Energy, Business or a related field.Relevant experience in ESG, sustainability or compliance, preferably within BESS, batteries, renewable energy or related industries.Good understanding of EU ESG and regulatory requirements; knowledge of the EU Battery Regulation is preferred.Experience with customer requirements, tenders, ESG/CSR assessments or audits is preferred.Fluent English; additional European languages are an advantage.
