Role DescriptionAs an Event Coordinator Intern, you will support the planning and execution of startup and entrepreneurship-focused events and workshops. This full-time, on-site role is based in the Helsinki Metropolitan Area, where you will assist with scheduling, venue coordination, logistics, and preparation of event materials. Your day-to-day tasks will include managing registrations, communicating with participants and partners, and providing on-site support before, during, and after events. You will help maintain event documentation, track attendance and feedback, and contribute ideas to improve future events. The role offers exposure to startup networks and practical experience in event coordination and youth-focused programming. QualificationsCandidates should possess strong Event Planning and Event Management skills, including organizing timelines, logistics, and resources.Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills for interacting with participants, partners, and team members (English and/or Finnish).Candidates should possess reliable Customer Service skills, with a focus on creating welcoming, supportive event experiences.Candidates should possess basic Sales skills, such as promoting events, engaging potential participants, and supporting partnership outreach.Additional beneficial qualifications include organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Comfort working with common office and event tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation software, online registration platforms) is preferred.Interest in startups, entrepreneurship, or youth education, and readiness to work on-site in the Helsinki Metropolitan Area.
