Job Purpose

As a Facility Manager, you will ensure the smooth and efficient operation of facilities across your assigned area in Sweden. You will oversee building maintenance, technical systems, service providers, budgets, and health and safety requirements to ensure our facilities meet business needs and DHL standards.

Your tasks

Manage daily facility operations, including building systems, maintenance, and technical services.Coordinate contractors, vendors, and maintenance teams to ensure high-quality service delivery.Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements, internal policies, and environmental standards.Support the preparation and monitoring of facility budgets, control costs, and identify savings opportunities.Monitor service performance, KPIs, and SLAs to ensure efficient facility management.Coordinate maintenance activities, renovations, and facility improvement projects.Optimize workspace utilization and support changing business needs.Maintain accurate facility records and provide regular reports on operations, costs, and projects.Work closely with internal stakeholders, landlords, and external service providers to resolve issues and improve services.Support and guide Facility Management Coordinators, Technicians, and service providers.Coordinate responses to facility-related emergencies when required.

Your profile

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.More than five years of relevant experience in facilities management, property management, or real estate, preferably in a warehouse, logistics, or business office environment.Practical knowledge of building systems, maintenance, contractor management, and facility operations.Experience in budget management, cost control, and service contract management.Understanding of health and safety requirements, risk assessments, and environmental standards.Experience with a Real Estate Management (REM) system, preferably Planon, is considered an advantage.Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Good communication and stakeholder management skills, with a collaborative and customer-focused approach.A proactive mindset and an interest in continuous improvement and sustainable facility management.Business-level English is required; business-level Swedish is highly desirable.A valid driver's license is considered an advantage due to travel between sites.
