This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team supporting some of the largest and most advanced data center projects across Finland and the Nordic region.

What You’ll Do

As a Field Service Engineer , you will play a key role in large-scale data center projects, working as a UPS systems commissioning engineer and providing first-class commissioning services as part of project and commissioning teams.

You are a professional electrician, a strong team player, and someone who enjoys technical challenges in critical power environments.

The role includes travel across the Nordic region as required (approximately 25%).

You will be responsible for overseeing data center commissioning activities on behalf of Eaton Field Service, both within the local service unit and, where required, across the wider regional cluster.

Key Responsibilities

Provide the highest level of technical expertise in all data center commissioning activities.Support and train local Field Service Engineers.Manage key account technical escalations, providing support to both engineers and customers, including site visits when required.Drive escalations through to resolution and provide technical feedback where necessary.Work closely with Project Managers, advising on commissioning considerations and supporting the selection of suitable engineers.Conduct site visits as required.Support the Project Management Organization with high-profile customers by providing technical expertise and on-site support.Maintain strong links with Eaton business units and factories, acting as a focal point for commissioning procedures, testing activities, and technical exchanges.Manage subcontractor teams.Perform Health & Safety audits of Field Service Engineers and subcontractors, ensuring Eaton's high standards are maintained.

Suitable electrical educationElectrical installation backgroundExperience in three-phase electrical installation or maintenanceGood understanding of switch panels and power distribution systemsFluent English Finnish language skills would be a plus
