Do you want to influence how an entire group works with logistics, purchasing, and supplier strategies?

We are currently seeking a business-oriented and analytical Group Logistic Category & Development Manager to take on group-wide responsibility for developing, streamlining, and optimizing our logistics flows and strategic supplier partnerships.

In this key role, you will have the opportunity to influence costs, processes, and results across multiple markets while driving development within logistics and indirect procurement. You will serve as a vital link between our operations in Sweden, Poland, and Norway, with a broad mandate to create long-term improvements and business value.

Your role: As Group Category Manager, you are responsible for developing and implementing the Group’s strategy for logistics and selected categories of indirect materials and services. You will work closely with local logistics and procurement teams while maintaining an overarching perspective focused on cost-efficiency, delivery reliability, and supplier development.

Your responsibilities will include:Map and analyze the Group’s inbound, intercompany, and outbound logistics flowsManage the Group’s logistics supplier base and drive supplier consolidationConduct procurement processes and negotiations with logistics providers in Sweden, Poland, and NorwayDevelop and manage framework agreements regarding pricing, capacity, and service levelsEnsure invoicing aligns with agreed contracts and price listsAct as an expert resource and point of escalation for major supplier-related issuesDrive improvement projects in collaboration with local logistics teams to increase efficiencyDevelop KPIs and analyses to monitor transport costs and supplier performanceEvaluate system support / software solutions for efficient freight mgmt as well as support in tender processesManage selected categories within Indirect Materials & Services (IMS)We are looking for someone who combines strong business acumen with deep knowledge of logistics and strategic sourcing.

To succeed in this role, we expect you to have:University degree in logistics, supply chain, purchasing, finance, or a related fieldSeveral years of experience in strategic purchasing within logistics areaProven experience with procurement processes and contract negotiationsExperience working with carriers and logistics providers in an international environmentStrong analytical skills and experience working in a data-driven mannerExperience leading change and improvement projectsFluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and writtenIt is an advantage if you have experience of:Indirect procurementERP, or analytics systemsManufacturing industry or international corporate environmentsWho are you?

Location: Our office in Stigamo, just south of Jönköping. Travel within Sweden, Norway, and Poland is required.
