Harness Design Engineer

About the roleIn this role, you will be a central part of developing wiring harness systems that enable modern vehicles to function reliably and efficiently. You will work broadly across the entire process, from 3D routing and installation to 2D schematics, component selection, and system optimization.The role also includes involvement in prototyping, troubleshooting, and supporting production, giving you a holistic view of how electrical systems come together. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to driving innovation within electrical architecture and harness design. We believe you have experience with:Wiring harness design within the automotive industry2D electrical design tools such as Saber, E3, Capital, Eplan, or SolidWorks Electrical3D CAD tools such as Catia, NX, Creo, SolidWorks, or AutoCADWorking with harness prototypes, manufacturing, and production processesTroubleshooting and resolving electrical or system-related issuesUnderstanding of electrical systems, components, and dimensioningWorking across different phases of development, from concept to implementation An engineering background within electrical, mechanical, or mechatronics is preferred, but equivalent experience is also valued.Fluency in English is required, Swedish is considered a plus.
