Head of ERP – Dynamics 365 F&O Location: Anywhere in Europe Working Model: Hybrid / Remote Industry: Global Manufacturing Start Date: Q1 2027 Reporting to: CIO / Chief Digital & Information Officer About the Role:We are seeking an experienced Head of ERP – Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) to lead the strategic direction, development and optimisation of our global ERP landscape.This position is planned for a Q1 2027 start, with the successful candidate joining at an important stage of the organisation's global ERP and digital transformation journey.As a key member of the global technology leadership team, you will take ownership of the organisation’s D365 F&O platform and ERP strategy, ensuring that our technology landscape continues to support a growing, complex and geographically diverse manufacturing business.You will work closely with senior stakeholders across Finance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, Sales and Operations, translating business requirements into scalable technology solutions and driving continuous improvement across the ERP ecosystem.This is a highly strategic role combining ERP leadership, transformation, architecture, governance and delivery. Key Responsibilities:Own and define the global ERP strategy and roadmap, with D365 F&O at its core.Lead the ongoing optimisation, development and governance of the Dynamics 365 F&O platform across multiple countries and business units.Act as the senior point of contact for ERP across the organisation, partnering closely with the CIO, CFO, COO and senior business leadership.Lead large-scale ERP transformation, implementation and optimisation programmes across Finance, Supply Chain and Manufacturing.Ensure the ERP landscape supports the organisation's wider business transformation and digital strategy.Drive standardisation of business processes and promote global best practices while balancing local regulatory and operational requirements.Oversee the delivery of new D365 functionality, upgrades, integrations and enhancements.Establish and maintain strong ERP governance, architecture, data and security standards.Lead and develop a high-performing internal ERP team, while managing relationships with external implementation partners and technology vendors.Work closely with Finance and Operations leadership to identify opportunities for automation, process optimisation and improved data visibility.Ensure the ERP environment remains scalable and capable of supporting future M&A, acquisitions, carve-outs and international expansion.Manage ERP budgets, delivery priorities, resource planning and vendor relationships.Establish clear KPIs and performance measures around ERP reliability, adoption, delivery and business value.Champion continuous improvement and ensure the organisation maximises the value of its investment in Microsoft Dynamics 365. Key Areas of Focus:The successful candidate will have strong exposure to several of the following:Dynamics 365 FinanceDynamics 365 Supply Chain ManagementManufacturingProcurementInventory & Warehouse ManagementFinance transformationSupply Chain transformationERP integrationsData migration and master dataPower Platform / Power BIAzureBusiness process standardisationERP governance and architectureM&A integration and ERP carve-outs About You:We are looking for an experienced ERP leader who combines strong D365 F&O expertise with excellent business and stakeholder management skills.You will ideally have:Significant experience leading Dynamics 365 F&O / Dynamics AX environments within a global organisation.Proven experience leading large-scale ERP transformation or implementation programmes.Experience within a manufacturing, industrial, engineering or supply chain environment.Strong understanding of Finance, Supply Chain and Manufacturing processes.Experience managing internal ERP teams and external systems integrators.Experience operating at senior leadership level, engaging with CIO, CFO, COO and other C-suite stakeholders.Strong understanding of ERP architecture, integrations, data and governance.Experience working across multiple countries, entities and regulatory environments.Experience with M&A integration, carve-outs or business separation projects would be highly advantageous.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.A strategic mindset combined with the ability to remain close enough to delivery to ensure successful execution.Fluency in English; additional European languages are advantageous.
