Head of Financial Control & Tax - Lindt

Lindt & Sprüngli is looking for a highly skilled Head of Financial Control & Tax to lead financial governance, accounting, tax and internal controls across the Nordic region. We are seeking a candidate with deep expertise in IFRS, accounting, tax and governance, who can act as the technical backbone of the Nordic Finance organization while leading and developing the Financial Control & Accounting team. Reporting directly to the Nordic CFO, you will serve as the primary technical advisor for complex accounting, tax and internal control matters across Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland. About the roleAs Head of Financial Control & Tax, you will be responsible for safeguarding the quality and integrity of financial reporting, tax compliance and internal controls throughout the Nordic organization.You will work closely with Group Finance, Group Tax, external auditors and senior management, ensuring compliance while supporting continued business growth.This role is ideal for a candidate who wants to combine technical expertise, leadership and business impact in a growing international organization.Placement at the head office in Solna (hybrid 60% office / 40% remote) and you will be part of the Nordic finance team (13 people). Key responsibilities: Technical Accounting & Financial ReportingAct as the primary technical accounting expert for the Nordic organizationDrive and ensure compliance with IFRS, local GAAP and Group reporting requirementsOwn statutory reporting and year-end processes across the Nordic entitiesDrive accounting quality and consistency across the regionManage complex accounting matters and provide guidance to leadership and finance teams Tax & Transfer PricingOwn the Nordic tax agenda, including corporate income tax, VAT, deferred tax and tax complianceManage transfer pricing documentation and implementationCollaborate with Group Tax on cross-border transactions and tax reportingDrive Pillar 2 and other new tax initiatives where requiredAct as key contact towards advisors, auditors and tax authorities Governance, Risk & Internal ControlsOwn and continuously improve the Nordic internal control frameworkEnsure control design, execution and documentation meet Group requirementsSupport Finance leadership in identifying and mitigating financial risksAct as a key stakeholder during internal and external auditsEnsure high-quality balance sheet governance and reconciliations Treasury & Working CapitalGovern banking mandates and payment approval structuresEnsure balance sheet and cash-flow forecast accuracyDrive working capital improvements and credit risk governance LeadershipLead and develop the Financial Control and Accounting teamRaise the technical competence of the finance organizationCoach and support colleagues in complex accounting and tax mattersDrive a culture of quality, ownership and continuous improvement Your profile Required ExperienceBig Four background with extensive experience in Audit, Accounting Advisory, & Tax.
