Information Technology Specialist

We are looking for an IT Specialist – CAD/PDM to take a central role in the administration, support, maintenance, and development of the organization's CAD and PDM environment.You will act as the link between the business, IT, and external vendors, ensuring that engineering and product-data solutions are stable, secure, efficient, and aligned with business requirements.The role focuses particularly on Autodesk Vault and related CAD applications. You will work closely with super users and system owners to maintain a reliable platform while also contributing to improvements, upgrades, integrations, and long-term development.Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister and manage Autodesk Vault and related CAD applications.Act as the IT subject-matter expert and primary contact for CAD/PDM, with a focus on Autodesk products.Provide IT support for Autodesk Vault, Inventor, and AutoCAD.Serve as the escalation point for complex CAD/PDM incidents and problems.Troubleshoot, analyze, and coordinate resolution of technical issues within the CAD/PDM environment.Participate in system upgrades, change initiatives, and continuous improvement activities.Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, super users, system owners, and external vendors.Maintain technical documentation, procedures, and application-management processes.Contribute to integrations and information flows between CAD/PDM systems, ERP platforms, and other business systems.Translate business requirements into practical and sustainable technical solutions.Required Skills & ExperienceBroad general IT knowledge and technical competence.Experience in application management, system administration, or technical IT support.Experience with or strong understanding of Autodesk Vault or other PDM/PLM systems.Knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Autodesk Inventor.Understanding of how CAD/PDM solutions support engineering and business processes.Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.Comfortable working across technical support, administration, system management, and continuous improvement.Nice-to-Have SkillsHands-on administration and management of Autodesk Vault.Experience with CAD/PDM environments within manufacturing or engineering industries.Knowledge of identity and access management.Experience integrating CAD/PDM with ERP and other enterprise systems.Knowledge of databases, automation, scripting, or programming.Understanding of document management, file management, and revision control.Experience with ITIL or established IT/application-management processes.
