Information Technology Support Specialist
Job SummaryWe are looking for an IT Support Specialist L2 to provide second-level technical support to employees and help maintain smooth day-to-day IT operations. The ideal candidate should have strong troubleshooting skills, good communication abilities, and a customer-focused approach to resolving technical issues. Key ResponsibilitiesProvide Level 2 technical support to employees through phone, email, chat, or ticketing systems.Diagnose and resolve common hardware, software, network, and access-related issues.Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals, and other IT equipment.Assist users with Windows, Microsoft Office 365, email, and common business applications.Create, update, and manage support tickets while maintaining accurate documentation.Perform basic troubleshooting for LAN/Wi-Fi, VPN, internet connectivity, and network access issues.Support user account setup, password resets, and basic access management in coordination with the relevant teams.Escalate complex or unresolved issues to L2/L3 support teams with complete troubleshooting details.Assist with onboarding and offboarding activities, including device setup and access provisioning.Maintain IT asset records and assist with hardware inventory management.Follow IT support procedures, security policies, and service desk best practices.Ensure timely resolution of incidents and service requests in line with agreed SLAs.Provide clear and professional communication to end users throughout the support process. Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.4-5 years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, service desk, or desktop support.Good knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office 365.Basic understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi, and VPN.Familiarity with hardware troubleshooting, printers, peripherals, and desktop/laptop configuration.Experience with IT ticketing or service management tools is preferred.Basic understanding of Active Directory / Entra ID is an advantage.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Good verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with technical teams.Strong customer-service mindset and ability to handle users professionally.
