Junior Business Controller

The RoleWe are looking for a curious and analytical Junior Business Controller who wants to develop within finance, business analysis and commercial performance. In this role, you will work closely with operational managers and team leaders, supporting them with financial follow-up and analysis. You will help turn financial and operational data into clear insights that support better decisions and improved profitability. Your responsibilities will include:Supporting managers with financial and operational follow-up.Analysing working hours, costs, revenues and operational KPIs.Identifying deviations and investigating the reasons behind financial results.Supporting monthly closing and reporting activities.Contributing to result analysis and financial investigations.Participating in annual budgeting and forecasting processes.Following up profitability and identifying areas for improvement.Supporting pricing adjustments in line with customer agreements.Developing and improving reports, dashboards and business-monitoring tools.Using data to create clear and actionable business insights.Supporting projects within Business Control, digitalisation and business development.Contributing to the development of processes, analytical models and ways of working. About YouYou are at an early stage of your finance career and are looking for a role where you can combine finance, data and business development. You are naturally curious and analytical, enjoy working with numbers and want to understand the business behind the figures. You are proactive, structured and not afraid to ask questions or challenge existing ways of working.You are also comfortable working with different stakeholders and can communicate financial information clearly to people who do not necessarily have a finance background. We believe you have:A university degree in Finance, Business Administration, Industrial Economics, Business Analytics or equivalent.2-4 years experience in a controlling roleSome professional experience in controlling, finance, business analysis or a related field.Strong Excel skills and a genuine interest in working with data.Good knowledge of, or a strong interest in, Power BI.Good understanding of the Microsoft 365 environment.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.A structured and accurate approach to your work.Good communication and interpersonal skills.A proactive mindset and genuine ambition to develop professionally
