The role
As an Industrial Designer, you will be involved throughout the entire design process—from research and strategy to ideation, visualization, and product development. You'll work closely with designers, engineers, and researchers to create user-centered solutions that are functional, accessible, and visually compelling.
This is an opportunity for a designer who enjoys combining creativity with problem-solving and wants to make a meaningful impact through design.
What You'll Do
Support the design and development of AAC devices, mounts, and accessories from concept through refinementCreate 3D CAD models, renderings, prototypes, and design documentation to communicate design intentCollaborate with engineers to translate design concepts into feasible and manufacturable solutionsExplore colors, materials, and finishes (CMF) and contribute to creating cohesive product experiencesParticipate in user research activities, including field studies and usability testingHelp document, synthesize, and apply user insights to guide design decisionsContribute to packaging and accessory design projectsIncorporate feedback from stakeholders and iterate designs throughout the development processSupport other design initiatives and activities as needed
Who You Are
You are a curious and collaborative designer who is passionate about understanding users and turning insights into meaningful products.You enjoy working across disciplines and are comfortable balancing creativity, user needs, and technical constraints.
What We're Looking For
3+ years of experience in Industrial Design (internships may be included)Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Design or a related fieldA research-driven mindset and experience conducting and synthesizing user researchStrong 3D CAD skills, preferably in Rhino or SolidWorks, along with KeyShotStrong sketching, visualization, and prototyping skills, including paper mock-ups and 3D printingUnderstanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and design for productionExcellent communication skills in English
Nice to have
Experience with animation renderingExperience designing products for the medical, assistive technology, or education sectors
