Layout Engineer (STATCOM & Substations)

We are currently looking for two Layout Engineers to support demanding power system projects related to STATCOM and substation solutions. In this role, you will work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams and be responsible for layout design, 3D modelling, and installation documentation throughout the project lifecycle. Your responsibilitiesDevelop STATCOM and substation layouts and 3D models in Revit and SolidWorksProduce assembly, installation, and engineering documentationCoordinate layouts, interfaces, clearances, and foundation inputsSupport BIM integration and design reviewsCollaborate with suppliers, project teams, and site personnel throughout project executionTo succeed in this role, you haveStrong hands-on experience with Revit and SolidWorksExperience in layout engineering for industrial, energy, or substation projectsKnowledge of 3D modelling, assembly drawings, and installation documentationUnderstanding of equipment arrangement, interfaces, clearances, and foundation design inputsGood understanding of BIM coordination and multidisciplinary model integrationExcellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in an international project environment We offerALTEN Finland offers a long-term opportunity to work within a skilled expert team.
