Low voltage Engineer – Finspång

Location: Finspång, SwedenAssignment Type: Consulting AssignmentIndustry: Energy / Gas TurbinesAbout the AssignmentWe are looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join the Low Voltage Engineering Team supporting customer-specific gas turbine projects. The team is responsible for the design and documentation of low voltage systems for Medium Gas Turbine applications, including equipment such as start motors, batteries, frequency converters, motor control systems, and low voltage switchgear.In this role, you will be involved throughout the entire project lifecycle, from electrical design and documentation to supporting manufacturing, testing, and site activities. You will work closely with project teams, suppliers, purchasing, manufacturing, commissioning, and customers worldwide.This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys combining hands-on electrical engineering, documentation, technical coordination, and customer-focused project work.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop electrical designs for customer order projects within the gas turbine business.Create and maintain:Electrical circuit diagramsSingle Line Diagrams (SLDs)Wiring and connection diagramsElectrical documentation packagesEnsure compliance with customer specifications, project requirements, and applicable standards.Review and approve technical documentation from subcontractors and equipment suppliers.Coordinate electrical interfaces with internal and external stakeholders.Support assembly, testing, commissioning, and site activities when required.Participate in design reviews and technical discussions throughout project execution.Contribute to cost-efficient, high-quality, and on-time project delivery.Support continuous improvement initiatives and engineering best practices.Required QualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or similar.Several years of experience in electrical design engineering.Experience creating electrical schematics and circuit diagrams.Experience developing Single Line Diagrams (SLDs).Experience reviewing supplier and subcontractor documentation.Good understanding of low voltage electrical systems and equipment.Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple disciplines.Fluent in English, both written and spoken.Preferred QualificationsExperience from power generation, gas turbines, industrial plants, or similar process industries.Experience using COMOS for electrical design and documentation.Experience with SAP.Experience with SINAMICS frequency converters / variable speed drives is considered a strong advantage.Knowledge of motor starting systems, battery systems, switchgear, and protection equipment.Familiarity with factory assembly, testing, or commissioning activities.Fluent in Swedish, both written and spoken.Personal ProfileWe are looking for someone who:Takes ownership of technical solutions and deliverables.Is structured, quality-oriented, and customer-focused.Enjoys working in an international project environment.Builds strong relationships with colleagues, suppliers, and customers.Is proactive, collaborative, and eager to drive improvements.Values safety, quality, and teamwork.Why Join This Assignment?You will contribute to projects that help deliver reliable energy solutions worldwide while working alongside experienced specialists in a highly competent engineering organization.
